A free biweekly newsletter for men who are done performing the version of themselves that was handed to them before they were old enough to question it. Honest, irreverent, and occasionally a goodie to download or a new shiny thing I want to show you.
Each issue lands with a laugh, says the quiet thing out loud, and leaves you with something worth carrying until the next one. Field notes from a man still walking the path, written for every man ready to walk his own.
Reader feedback is always welcome. I read them all.

Why is it Called the Defector's Dispatch?
The word defector comes from the book. Webster calls it abandoning a cause or allegiance.
A defector isn’t a quitter, a coward, or a runaway. The defector withdraws his participation with full awareness of what he’s leaving and why. He’s not escaping, he’s refusing to invest his attention any longer to what does not serve his values. The people who have benefitted from his investment will call him weak, uncommitted or lost. The defector knows what they won’t say out loud: the system that benefits from his attention only works if he keeps consenting to it.
So he decides to withdraw his participation.
The Dispatch exists for the man who’s done with the narratives and is actively figuring out what comes next, and who could use a place where that’s not only acceptable but encouraged.
If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
